Children in Accidents (Table)

The table shows the number of kids killed in road accidents from research in a 3-month period in 2004. They divided into five age groups and five accidents places. Most accidents occurred with children from 5-7 years old because playing in the street.
The highest number of accidents was playing in the street with 214 out of a total of 370. The most children killed in this type of accidents were aged from 2 to 7. In contrast, children aged between 15 and16 were less died by this way. Shopping for parents came next with 52 accidents. The highest age group for that was from 5-7. Cycling accounted the most accidents amongst children between 5 and 13. Going to school and coming from school were least number of accidents. Most age group involved in this sort of accident was younger children.
The table illustrates that the highest number of accidents include younger children rather than older children. Age group between 2 and 7 represented about 66% out of total 370.
